M36 Greatcoat M36 Greatcoat with Captains (Kapteeni) bars on the sleeves. The shoulders have the pilots wings and Lions shields. Dated 1941. |

Top - Lieutenants Finnish Infantry M36 tunic. Tunic with red collar is Finnish Artillery. Tunic with blue collar is a captain in the Supply Division attached to Headquarters. The light gray tunic is a Lieutenants Summer tunic with Infantry collar tabs. |

Sweater & Gloves Finnish sweater and 2 different neck scarves. The leather gloves on left have a separate index finger on the right glove for the trigger. The mittens have separate liners. Close-up shot of mittens and wool liners. The gloves have SA stamps. |
Finnish Helmets Italian and Czech helmets used during the Winter War The liners of the Italian m33 and Czech m34 helmets used in Finland During the Winter War. The Italian helmet may have a post war chinstrap. I think the wartime chinstrap was leather. But, the helmet was repainted Finn green during the war (using a paintbrush). |
Finnish Helmets & Hats Helmet on left is an Austrian WWI helmet with Finnish liner and paint. The helmet on right is a Hungarian model 36 with Finnish liner. Variations on a theme. Notice the different wool colors. The middle hat, 2nd row, is the summer m36 hat with National emblem. |
Long Underwear The square cloths on right are actually socks. The underwear on left is made of linen and wartime stamped. Cork Life Vest Finnish life vest made of cork blocks linked together. |
