This is a set of 14 pieces that were originally from hospital or medical services during the war.

This would make a great set if you are putting together a display. These pieces cannot be found anymore, anywhere.

Postwar and wartime breadbags. Very similar in details. The one on the left is a postwar and has faint "castle" marking on inside of cover. The one on the left is wartime. Both have some wear and tear and "field repairs" done by the owners.

Collection of Finnish Army used flashlights from WWII and post war. There is one flashlite with a new battery in it and it works. One flashlite does not have a bulb in it. Swede box dated 1937 and used in the Finnish army during the war. There are few pieces of leather that the Swedes left behind that got an SA stamp. I'm not sure what this small box was used for. You can find Swede canteens in your local Army/Navy store. They are usually less than 10.00, but the quality varies. These are good units.

Official Finnish Army Leather Dog Collar

This is a modern unit, not wartime. Finn Army Castle Stamp on side.

Will fit your standard Doberman or German Shepherd, but will not fit a terrier.  1 leather collar available.

Finnish wartime cork life vest. The cork is coated with wax to maintain it's ability to float after long periods in the water.

Finnish SY marked Ammo pouch. Possibly for the Bergman machine pistol. The leather case is intact and has lots of markings on it, including the date "1924", Civil guard "S" stamp, manufacturer's stamp, and the large "SY" stamp on the flap.

Interesting fact: The Finnish "SA" stamp was first used in 1941. It was continued to be in use up until 1956 when the "castle" stamp was applied to army items.  It is possible, and quite probable, to find items that look wartime, have the SA stamp, but were made and used in the mid '50s.  If you have a question about an item, contact me. Canvas Finnish rifle slings (ASEHIHNAT) 
made in 1944. 40,000 of these were delivered to the Finnish army before the war was over. Some wear and tear. Unmarked.  8 available with the square buckles.

2 available with the older oval buckles but these 2 slings have repairs down their sides. Some wartime seamstress has stitched the edges to keep them from unraveling. Very professional work.

German / Finnish burlap bag with large German Eagle stamped on it. These bags were used for mail and other purposes. 

Also available (in canvas) with German Eagle with Swastika and  large Finnish SA stamp on front.

Each bag looks like a duffle bag and is about 2.5 feet tall by 14" wide.

SA stamped ammo pouches in good condition. These are German WWI pouches sent to Finland in the late teens or early 1920s.  20 available. These have Finn repairs, or Finn added straps to the corners of the ammo pouches, and to the backs.

2 different uniform badges. The brass "crossed suomi" machine pistols are postwar made. Very cool. Not sure how long the suomi was used in Finnish service but I believe it was through the 1960's and maybe into the '70s.

This Blue and White service cross would have been issued to Aux units like Home Guard and Lotta Svard. No stampings on back. Never issued. Would be a good addition to the Lotta Svard Pin.

"Instituted in 1968, this award would fall well outside this collection, but for the fact that it was made available retroactively to Finns who participated in the civil Guards during the liberation period. It is awarded to all former members of the civil Guards and lotta Svärd organization, from 1918 to 1944. The bar "1917-1918" is awarded to people who were in Civil Guards or Lotta & Svärd during the Liberation war. "

Original wartime shooting badge with crossed rifles.  This was a proficiency badge given to troops who excelled at shooting and marksmanship. The badge does have an intact pin and wheel on the back. Also included with this badge is a wartime Civil Guard tin cap cockade. Commonly referred to as the "coke bottle cap".  Both pieces are in excellent condition and extremely rare. Excellent parts for your uniform or display.
